Should they manage that, the corresponding Hyper Strike will be unstoppable. However, if they mess up, it is time for Boom Boom to take the spotlight. With an imperfect Hyper Strike, the goalkeeper will get a chance to make the save in Mario Strikers: Battle League. When the arrow meter appears on top of Boom Boom, rapidly mash A to fill it up. If you get it all the way filled, then Boom Boom will retain control of the ball. If the arrow is not filled, there is still a chance the shot will go in, or the goalkeeper will lose control and the ball is thrown back into play.
