When The Last of Us TV Show Happens
The show takes place in 2033, like the game it’s based on. The Last of Us features notable actors from Game of Thrones like Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey as the main characters Joel and Ellie, respectively. Joel and Ellie travel across the U.S. searching for a cure for the Cordyceps fungus turning millions into zombies. The Last of Us show has a lot to live up to: the 2013 video game sold over a million copies the week after its release and was praised by critics for its story and graphics. Due to its popularity, The Last of Us received content additions. The Last of Us Part 1 is a remake of the game for PlayStation 5.
